Fanart Cleanup

My fanart has been building up for quite some time. I would like to clean it out and start from scratch. How do I go about re-downloading all the fanart after I have deleted all the existing files?

Delete all fanart (and caches). Then in BMT, tell it rescan and only update fanart.

Just making sure - everything under sagetv/sagetv/userdata/phoenix/ cache & fanart ?
How do I tell sage to regenerate? Or will it just do it on the fly?

You would need to go into BMT web ui, load a view (like all movies), and there is a button , Refresh Fanart, in the button bar.

and yeah, never hurts to clear everything in the caches directory.

In the configuration for fanart as well you can limit the # of images to download per item, I think it is set to 5, but you can set it 1 or 2, if you don't want too many items.

Still frustrating that for fanart Phoenix can't distinguish between remake movies with the same title released in different years.

I'm likely never going to fix it... but, the code is there. Anyone wants to change how fanart is stored/resolved, I'd be perfectly ok to review pull requests.

Thanks. I wiped everything in Fanart and cache (I do have a backup ). 10G!
I haven't loaded BMT WebUI -- I'm going to see how they repopulate on their own (unless my wife "suggests" that I get 'em back now!).
