Any thoughts on exactly what you have planned? There are a few very specific things I use all the time so I'd like to see them stay.

Let me know what you think.
Maybe start a new thread for futures u and others use I can keep an eye on because it definitely won't have the full feature set available in the current version

Not a problem. I don't use half of them anyway.

Thanks Plucky

I'm still using SMM and remain grateful for your original plugin - it's an essential part of my Sage experience, thanks to you!

After the acquisition, I figured (okay, hoped) the Google development team would bring you on-board so we might have SMM incorporated into some future release of GoogleTV. I guess that never happened, but I'm glad you're still with us! Thanks again for all your hard work Plucky.

Thumbs up

Mainly using:
- List view (plus custom view "New Titles List View")
- Basic view (plus custom view "New Titles Basic View")
- Genre view

Sort by:
- Name
- Date

Filter by:
- Watched

I never use the search screen because I never figured out how it works.

Honestly, I would have loved a completion of the missing SMM functionality (mainly the 'Info' screen) plus fixing some of the bugs, but I will happily try anything you come up with. And HD300 definitely is my platform.

Cheers,
teq

I'm definitely in... before my SageTV server crashed (which I'm finally rebuilding) I used SageMyMovies as the way I watched all my DVDs. Used it regularly from within SageTV so would love to see you make something similar!

My "old" SMM is still chugging along. In fact, since I rebuilt my server, it is actually working better!? A couple years ago I commented how I always needed to do a manual scan (force it) for SMM to pick up new titles in Collection Management. However, since the new server, they automatically show up... I haven't had to do a manual scan at all and my movies just keep appearing in SMM as I add them.

Working SageMC

My wife cannot accept change. Sage MC 16x9 is the only interface she liked. I know you can still use it but if you add a plugin a lot do not work with it. The interface is easy and it is nice to jump to the letters. If I could just have the simple interface for the shows it would be awesome.

Well this is a bad news, worse news situation.

First two of my hd300's died and no longer work . Second I have been using xbmc/mixed with plextv/mixed with wmc. lol allot of combos.

Okay so that was the worse news.

The bad news is I will probably be switching back to sagetv for my backend recordings but without extenders I can't really validate the time needed for this app anymore. It's been over 2 years and I think sage is slowing fading away for me sadly. I did start work on a new version but it was only some api/java stuff and hadn't even touched the studio side of things yet. The death of my extenders forced me to look elsewhere.

PluckyHD, this is very sad news! But I understand.

I haven't been able to get the previous version of SMM to work since upgrading to WHS2011 and that's greatly diminished the usefulness of SageTV for me. I was hoping a new version would solve the issue. I know other people have it working, and I tried the database config changes, but no luck.

I wish I could find a suitable replacement for SageTV, but there is still nothing that is close. Windows Media Center is just too unreliable. I'll keep looking and hoping.

In another thread, he mentioned that he's using the Tivo Bolt (and liking it), so I'm guessing this project may be dead in the water.

In all fairness to PLUCKY, as well, I think this project didn't see the light of day because of changes to the MyMovies architecture that made it hard, if not impossible, to integrate with SageTV.
