Upgrading to 9.2.1 32bit breaks USB-UIRT

Setup=Windows 10 64bit 1903. Had SageTV 9.1.10 installed. More system config details in signature (a little out of date but close)

Upgraded to 9.2.1 After upgrade USB-UIRT would not work. no errors or anything just would not change the channels. Did a system restore to an earlier restore point and it works. I thought it would roll back the 9.2.1 install but sage still reports 9.2.1. After restore USB-UIRT is working again but I'm perplexed.

I see reference to this in change log:
New: Add EXEMultiTunerPlugin, HCWIRBlaster & USB-UUIRT VS projects (Windows)
But not sure what that means.

Anything I should check to verify the strange way I got this working is ok?

Check the known issues section at the top post. Might help with the usb-uirt you are having.

Thanks. I had seen that but everything there about USB-UIRT is regarding the 64bit install. I'm running 32bit and something about the 32but install breaks my USB-UIRT. Restoring windows to an earlier point prior to the upgrade seems to fix it but I have no idea why or how to verify everything is how it should be.

Near the bottom of the top post at https://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63009 is the relevant info about the USB-UIRT dll. In your case (32-bit), the file properties for the correct uuirtdrv.dll should be dated 7/8/2011.

I saw really weird behavior RE: USB-UIRT last time I upgraded as well.

Not sure if you're seeing the same thing, but eventually tracked it down to 2 things:
after upgrading, the uu_irsage.dll file was missing in C:\SageTV\Common
and
the .ir file for my cable box in C:\SageTV\Common\RemoteCodes\USB-UIRT Transceiver
became corrupted.

Maybe see if you have both or one of these issues?

The latest upgrade broke my UIRT too. Thanks mdnttoker, my uu_irsage.dll was indeed missing too. Your post saved me a lot of troubleshooting! There must be a small issue with the installer
