Let me know if this also fixes the issues you were having with the Plex Channel.
Not fixed. I checked phoenix with your util, I installed v1.02 of this, I restarted plex, and still get the same results.

I am running the 0.9.9 version of Plex.

I had to use the web version of the plex server home page to configure the channel - address (most likely local host), port, login credentials, etc. Then it would conect to sage. But I'm still not getting and videos listed so... ymmv...

Right now it is not fully working.

Well stuckless did say that he might not be able to get an update this week so we need to be patient.

Ok - I am logged in to Plex Pass and I was trying to use the web UI on my local Sage/Plex server. I also tried from an ipad with no luck.

@wayner, @nyplayer, @davidk21770

Zip up the plex logs (all of the Logs) directory and the sagetv logs (SAGETV_HOME/logs) and email them to metadatatools at gmail dot com.

Sadly, I'm not seeing any media errors in the logs... but I did see a couple of other issues...

So, here's a new release.. (1.0.3)
https://github.com/stuckless/sagetv-...annel/releases

Try it, and see if you have any different results. If not, then I'm wondering if it's a Plex Media Server version issue??

Other than myself, does anyone have this working?

Nope does not work ... maybe it is a plex version problem.

What's the process to upgrade? Shut down Plex, delete the old folder and install the new?

Yeah, that's what I do... I always remove the old folder... just to make sure there are no old residual files that may cause issues.

I am having the same issue with no files listed except for the recording schedule views. I have the latest Plex Media Server 9.9.1 (Plexpass) and the latest Phoenix versions on my server. Both are in the same box.

I have not tried version 1.0.3 that you just posted.

Running the latest 1.0.3, still same. Just all movies, recording schedule (grouped by date), recording schedule, and currently recording return something. Everything else errors out and go back to main Plex menu.

It's almost the same on the server when running the plugin from Plex's Media manager. Only difference is the error says "no files for the given view..."

Btw, my Plex server version is .9.8.18

I just tried this for the first time tonight, running 1.0.3. I'm having the same view problems (no items) with both builtin and my custom phoenix views. Below is what I think are the relevant log entries. I've bolded the part I think is the problem. I have also verified that the URL in the log returns a response that looks valid when using a browswer. Hopefully this helps narrow it down.

Edit: Maybe the sagex apis aren't returning utf-8 encoded text (rather ISO-Latin1 maybe), but plex is trying to read it that way??

I'm seeing the same problem with plugin 1.0.3 & PMS 0.9.8.18 - Not sure which piece isn't handling the encoding properly

I saw and upgraded to 1.03.
I can now see my schedule (which I couldn't before), but I still have no videos listed under any of the other headings.
BTW, I am running 0.9.9.0.308-7e8496a of plex server.
