If you want it to work with IE just leave out the user and pass. IE will ask for it and click to remember it. Everything works fine after that.

Think there would be an easy way to make the text color different for the show time and channel?

Sure, Rainmeter widgets are configured purely through text files. Just find the text in the config file for the SageTV widget and update (or add) the color property for that bit of text.

I'm not at home at the moment so I can't be more specific than that just but I'll post more if needed later today.

Got it thanks. I just added some new vars to change date and channel colors. Now I would love to get rid of the episode name in the show title and add season and ep numbers to the tooltip. Sounds like a project for next weekend.

Here is what I have done so far. It works better with IE and you can change colors of the date and channel. Oh and I added the day before the time and channel.

Just thought I'd mention that Rainmeter 3.0 beta is out and one of the major improvements being worked on is around font-rendering. See this thread for more info: http://rainmeter.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=106&t=15237

I've just got done installing 3.0 beta this weekend and I'm already liking the font rendering improvements

I have a small request -- would you be able to do a version of the lua script that skips the "date" part, e.g. " , May 7" in "Tue, May 7 10:00PM". I really like the day of week you've added and really don't need the date so much.

Anybody know if this still works? I was thinking of installing Rainmeter on my PC for other reasons, but I found this useful in the past, as well as the old Win7 widget for SageTV.

The SageTV side should still work as I assume that it uses the WebUI or Sagex to get the info and none of that will have changed in the last seven years.

Awesome, I have it up and running on a new Win10 PC. I would love to be able to change the info reported by the widgets but that may not be too easy as it seems to depend on RSS feeds. It would be easier if it used SageX API calls.
