Can anyone customize for me a Sagetv import for "movie now" "news now" .. menus
Can someone help me customized three menu that can find all "news" "movies" and "sport" showing now? SageMC only have "movie now". Thanks. I do not need to see anything in advance only the one showing "now".

SageMC only have special menu for Movies and can filter for movies showing now. But there are no customizable option for other categories, like news, sports, special events, etc..

The secret menus on standard Sage can do this but cannot filter for "on now" events.

Mike was saying the next version of SageMC will support this. I suppose you could crack open the XML file in a text editor, find the movies button and change it to news and see if that works.

Won't work. It's a bit more complicated than that. We have added this feature for the next release of SageMC, which should be ready in the next couple of weeks.

Thank Mike,

That would be a terrific features, making Sage more like my coolsat STB. BTW, is there a feature in sagemc to link one of the custom button to the "movie" menu. That way I can simply press a button on my remote and go directly to movies. Thanks
