How do you fix a zero duration file?

I have recently had some issues with files that have been imported. When I look at them in the web UI they show as being 0 duration. These files are actually over 2 hours long. They are MP4 files.

How do I fix this? Is there a simple edit with BMT or the web UI? When I look at the Web UI the only thing you can edit is :

File start time: [XX] seconds [earlier/later] than Airing Start Time

Here is what it shows under the Aired part of the web UI detail file info:
Aired: Mar 18, 2023 2:22 PM - 2:22 PM

Duration: 0 m

I tried putting in a duration of the correct time, but that didn't work.

I seem to recall that you do a touch on the file so it updates its time stamp and sage will then re determine the duration.

Or I have seen if there are a bunch subtitles to them (or at least for me with mkv files) then Sage tends to barf on them

I tried a touch and it updated the file date and time and that didn't help.

I've been seeing this increasingly with imported videos as well. Playback is affected as well (at least on a Windows client), seeking doesn't work at all. And if you stop and restart one of these videos, it will always start at the beginning again.

I find when I run into situations like that, I need to re-encode the file via Handbrake to a more friendly container/codec that Sage likes.
