Version tweaking request

Can we get the tuner channel scan amended so it searches range 2- 36 as per new standard rather than 2 - 69? Where I am in Canada they are already relocating channels down the band to accommodate the re-purposed frequencies to cellphone use etc. This would lower the time & stress factor when having to redo setups. I don't know when the newer standard arrives in USA. Maybe it is different there since they are adopting atsc 3.0?

Based on your post I created an issue on Github for your request so it can be tracked: https://github.com/google/sagetv/issues/441

I added a note in the github issue to consider making the upper limit configurable.

Here in Ottawa the transition is still ongoing and some stations have an temporary extention, and overall the final year is 2021 so this is premature.

Still a good optional range for those that can use it.

Looks like it tops out at 36 in the Chicago market.

NP I'm in Calgary where all the stations have already made the move. I suggested a customizable range for that reason so those still needing the bigger range can still get it. For those of us not needing it, we can speed up our tuner setups.
