Running on Debian buster

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone is successfully running Server 9.2.1 on Buster?
not sure if the dependencies are matched. Currently running on Stretch & was hoping to upgrade.

Ubuntu equivalents would be
bionic 18.04
cosmic 18.10
disco 19.04

I use Mx Linux currently based on debian stretch (16.04 - 17.10 Ubuntu equivalent series) but am testing debian buster/sid which is based on above install listings which I cant get sagetv deb to install on. next step will be to attempt build from source.

I guess I am asking for feedback on the compatibility of Sagetv (9.2.1) with next debian/ ubunutu series code.

I'm still on 16.04 and in the (slow) process of building an 18.04 box.

If you can't use the .deb, don't worry about building from source. Just use the .tar.gz release. Only downside is you may have to install some of the dependencies manually.

ok got it to install finally. I used a net install direct from sagetv server. For some reason it wouldn't install with my downloaded deb copy I have used previously with no issues. ( that was in the stretch based version not the newer buster based version) Phew , Happy to know sagetv still works on my upgraded os.
