Do Sage extenders automatically mount drives?

This morning I telneted into a Sage HD-200 extender and I found that it had mounted drives to several devices on my LAN - mainly shares from my Home Automation controller, but also to one drive on a Raspberry Pi that I have shared.

Any reason why this would be? Does it do this automatically to facilitate playback of media when an extender is in standalone mode.

Here is the output of them mount command on one of my HD-200s. FYI - I am not sure if my other HD-200s are like this as well. I just went into the extender in standalone mode to change it to a static IP.

Code:
STP-HD200[/]# mount
rootfs on / type rootfs (rw)
/dev/root on / type squashfs (ro,relatime)
proc on /proc type proc (rw,relatime)
sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw,relatime)
