Photo Rotation - Thumbnail/Screensaver

My kids like to view pictures on the TV and when manually selecting them they will be rotated properly. The kids also like to have the slideshow screensaver running, but there the pictures are not rotated. They're also not rotated in the thumbnails. Any way to get them auto-rotated for those cases too?
