Did you ever get that WinTV-dualHD usb tuner to work with both tuners in Sage TV yet or does it only able to use half the tuners in Sage TV?

Had to ask since I ordered one to see if I can use it to replace an old failing card.

Nope it only see one of the tuner and has other issus as well but then agine SageTV it self need a bit work on windows side of thing any way.
How ever we have wait for the Linux driver which I heard we maybe getting just not sure when to see how that gose so as now there only 3 apps that work out the boxs NextPVR, SichboPVR as well as WinTV 8 I have not tested WMC as I don't have extxa Windows 7 OS for my old Dell 1440 laptop.
If need USB just get HVR-955Q

Just a quick update SHS that Hauppage updated it's drivers for the WinTV-DualHD tuner at http://www.hauppauge.com/site/suppor...rt_dualhd.html

Date: Feb. 9, 2016
Note: this version fixes:
Error code 52 found on some versions of Windows
Resume from standby problems with some PCs
Clear QAM problem with Windows Media Center

does not fix the tuner only showing up as a single tuner instead of a dual tuner but supposedly fixes the above problems

The problem has to with that way SageTV see the WinTV-DualHD which only look at BDA Receiver Component Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD TS Capture when SageTV should be look at BDA Source Filters then it would see both Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD ATSC Tuner and Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD ATSC Tuner 2.

Well, crud, I should have read this first. I saw this at frys and scooped it up before thinking it might not be dual in sage, which of course is the only reason I wanted it.

Any luck getting it to recognize second tuner? It lists two new options named differently, but neither actually work.

If no one's having luck, back to frys it is.

WInTV dualHD

I have discovered that when using the winTv dual usb tuner, that it can be used in WinTV at the same time as being used in sage so whilst sage doesn't see both tuners they can be both used with different software at the same time, would be real nice if someone could work out how to get the WinTV EPG into SageTV.

Darn, I didn't see this before I picked up this tuner. I guess this still isn't sorted out. I wonder if Jeff could fix this easily or would be willing to fix this difficultly ?
