DONE: Planned outage on 2/18

Howdy everyone.

We plan to do an update on the OS on the server that hosts our forums on Tuesday February 18th. This will probably last just the course of that day if all goes well. We'll be taking the server offline early on the 18th to back things up before the upgrade.

This does NOT affect the EPG server; that will stay online during this.

The following services will be affected during this outage:
SageTV Forums
Download of channel logos, series images and movie images
Placeshifter locator ID lookup
Linux license registration
Plugin submissions and retrieval of info for new plugins
Plugin installs if the plugin is hosted on our server
SageTV Website (what's left of it that is)

As you can see the forums are back online now.

The following services are also back online now:
Locater Server
Linux License registration

The other services are not backup properly yet; they did not partition the new server correctly so I need to have them take it down and redo that at which point I can get everything else back online as well. Thanks for your patience.

Also back online now are:
Plugin submissions
Plug installs
SageTV website

The only thing not online yet is the download of channel logos and movie images (series images worked through the outage, I forgot we don't actually host those ourselves)

Everything should be back online now. There's still some issue with the RAID configuration...but everything else is fine and once they fix the RAID issue then it should just come back online like normal. You shouldn't notice any problems between now and then.
