One Folder In Windows ==> Multi Folders In Folder View?

\\Nas\b\DVDs_NetFlix\Wire (The) ++++

contains 2 subdirectories:

- Season 1

- Season 2

Note the four plus signs appended to the name. This is my personal rating system.

It started out as just \\Nas\b\DVDs_NetFlix\Wire (The) and somewhere along the line I added the plus signs.

Also, somewhere along the line, I created two subdirectories for the different seasons.

In Windows Explorer, it all looks good: one parent directory and Season 1/Season 2 stuff under the appropriate subdirs.

But Sage is rendering two lines: "Wire (The)" and "Wire (The) ++++".

The first one has both Season 1 and Season 2 under it - with a few of Season 2's episodes under the Season 2 subdir.

The second one has just a Season 2 subdir and the remainder of the Season 2 episodes under it.

Seems like something happened when I renamed the parent dir.

My guess is that we'll never know....

But does anybody know how to make it right? Maybe some functional equivalent of seeker/disable_root_path_existence_check=true but for movies instead of recorded TV?

Ok... Dumb question.... Mea Culpa.

I did the obvious:
  • [li]Moved the offending parent directory and it's contents to another share which was not visible to Sage
    .[/li]
    [li]Did a Setup | Scan Imported Media
    .
    [/li]
[li]Waited for the dust to settle.
    .[/li]
[li]Moved the parent folder back into a share that Sage can see
    .[/li]
[li]Did another Setup | Scan Imported Media
    .[/li]

And all was well...
