Cannot restore collections database

I made a back up of my collection, then created a new one, and then tried to restore it.

I get an error that says the restore failed! Any ideas on how to get a brand new backup to restore? I really don't want to have to go through my entire collection and get it up and running again.

If you can't get it to load the backup, all you have to do to get everything back is to add the directory and CM will load all the stored metadata. It doesn't really take that long.
