Setting "Detailed Setup / Customize / Metadata Options / .my File Reading / Read .my Files" to No should fix it.

Trying to change it pops up a new window which gave one option (no), but once selecting it and closing the window, it didn't change the "yes" field selection for "Read .my files" and as noted above, I could toggle the always read option, of course that one didn't open its own popup window.

Yesterday, I was seeing the same behavior as Mondeath, but today it worked. The only thing I know that changed is a PC reboot. Not sure what really happened to make it work today.

Apparently so. You can read the details via the "view plugin details" within Sage. At least, that's what I did.

This update may have messed up the tmiranda Youtube plugin for me. Says it's disabled now and was working before I updated CMT. Can't re-enable it, also tried to reinstall but no go.

Any ideas?

I am out of town on a business trip for a few days so I am unable to do so, I was just wondering if this updated functionality or just moved the files to a new server, as has been the case with a few other plugins.

I don't use the Youtube plugin all that often, but I checked mine and it still seems to work. I was able to watch some of the "most popular" videos through it without issue.

Gotcha. Nope... a couple of actual updates, not just a move to a new server. I already updated, so I can't view the changes at this point.

<ReleaseNotes>3.1.6
Change from using UserRecords as the WIZ.BIN impact didn't justify the benefit. Will cause a temporary increase in WIZ.BIN size that will reduce.
Fix changing recordings to videos when enable_converting_imported_videos_to_tv_recordings is enabled
Added ability to set Season and Episode Number if not already set when changing videos to recordings

FYI. The size of my WIZ.BIN halved once DB maintenance had run.

Sorry, can't help. The Youtube plugin is working OK for me. Are you V7 or V9?

As posted in other threads, my IMDB access (which is served by this plugin, IIRC) and also my PlayOn access, had broken a few weeks ago. The IMDB was partially working but not pulling a lot of the info, and the PlayOn would just sit with the green "thinking" bar when I tried to access it. I tried numerous server reboots, reinstalling the plugins, etc. I was resigned to having to find a good time to try a complete reinstall of Sage.

Yesterday we had a long power outage (power company work in the neighborhood, we had warning) and when everything came back on, both plugins were working perfectly (IMDB and PlayOn). Don't know what happened, but I'll take it!

So last night I see about this update, and I'm wary of messing things up (since the IMDB is part of CMT).... can you explain exactly what this update is doing in layman's terms?

No prob, I'm on an old patched version of 9 (copy the files manually) might need to actually use the v9 installer and get caught up.

Thx,

Jeremy

It's just a change to how the plugin determines when to output to a .properties file and the impact that has on WIZ.BIN size. No changes at all in the IMDB area.

Me too! Here is what I got searching for James Garner:

Failed to find search results content in https://www.imdb.com/find?s=nm&mx=200&q=James+Garner at: net.sf.sageplugins.sageimdb.ImdbWebSearch.search:111

If that helps.

Although the URL does work. Must be a parsing error because they changed the web page.

I've uploaded a fixed version to the repository

If your still running JAVA 1.7 you wont be able to download it via SageTV, but can manually download the JAR file from
https://dl.bintray.com/jrekiwi/SageT...imdb_2.0.3.zip
and replace the file in \SageTV\JARs when SageTV is not running

Thank you!!! I've been missing IMDb! I installed plugin and tested imdb and it works again - hooray! But then I was unable to play anything on my HD300 - all was well in the PC monitor just not the extender. So I rebooted pc, restarted sage etc - still nothing.

Then I remembered that, most of the time, if anything goes wrong, all I have to do i unplug and replug the HD300 power cord. Sure enough, everything is great now - why do I NEVER remember to try that first thing!!

Thank you again. And as soon as tvdb gets its update all straightened out and we get episode descriptions again, life will be perfect!
Julie
