Check in your SageMC settings under Paths. You’ll find an option for Central Fanart Directory. You can leave it as the default or move it to another location if you prefer. Just remember to move the folders/files that have started if you change the location in your paths.

HI Rems actually I think he was asking about the metadate itself it is stored int he wiz.bin file. What is wrong that you are wanting to edit it?

Changed direction
8. If running latest beta version go into sagemc screen specific options and point video library to Sage Movie Wall. (If not running latest see 8.a)

No longer need to point a new menu item to sage movie wall with latest version released today You can now go into it and replace you default video library with sage movie wall.

Thanks Maui for this!!!

Also just an update the next release will support fanart scaling as does the new release of SageMc.

So those of you will huge fanart files no worries if you have scaling turned on in the sagemc options my app will scale as well.

Just another update. I spent the better part of 3 days figuring out the scaling issues I was having and getting the reflections working without totally bogging down the hd200 extender (extender functionality is a must in my apps sense that is all I run) I am happy to say thanks to stuckless and maui help I have the scaling working and it is a great feature!!

Hoping to have a new build out before the weekend.

great things are coming......I think

I know I'm coming in here a little late (as usual), but I just imported this plug-in and wanted to give my thanks to PLUCKYHD(as well as to all the other developers). Great work!

I thought I'd share my experience since I'm not using the latest builds (in case it helps anyone). I'm currently running the latest final version of SageTV (version 6.5.9, not the beta), and prelease 23 of SageMC. I am running the latest versions of BMT and AMIS. Still, everything seems to be working divinely. As a matter of fact, I stumbled upon this plugin because my movies screen was beginning to slow down since installing BMT and downloading the fanart for my videos. I don't know if this is coincidental, or cause and effect, but since importing SMW, My Videos has become considerably more responsive (I've kept access to both My Videos and SMW from the Main Menu). Hooray for whatever happened!

I only imported it about half an hour ago, but it looks so sweet I just had to comment.

Thanks again, and let me know when I can finally buy you a beer

Peter

Quazeye I just saw this if you can fetch one at a time you are installed right make sure you are forcing full index and it should rescan

Although this won't be necessary on my new build as it will scale as the sample I sent you

The backgrounds can be chosen in AMIS or in list view. then next build will support it in wall view as well.

First of all - thanks! This screen looks fantastic on my TV at home. Finally convinced me to dive into filter expressions in the dynamic menus file so I could have a "Movies" item separate from my other downloaded media.

Second - a couple of feature requests:
- An option to turn off the animation in ListView (I'd prefer to be able to scroll quickly through my movie rather than wait for the dvd cover and description to fly in)
- An option (or default) to show more of the movie name in listview (about 80% of my movie titles are cut off)

Cslatt,
I was thinking about doing this same thing but wasn’t sure how to apply a filter to my wall to isolate media types.

Can you provide some insight as to the steps you took to achieve this with dynamic menus?

Greatly appreciated!
