Hi Guys,

I am downloading the posters from moviedb.org so I think they are somewhat big.

I am going out for my son's T-Ball game but will be back later if you want to send me that code PluckyHD.

That new detailed poster view looks awesome... you are doing a great job with this and I thank you for all your work! I moved from MyMovies in Media Centre and this is even better!

Thaks I appreciate the compliment. Just look at the size of the files.

Are you not auto importing this using BMI or EP's scraper?

I will have you a new version of the code to test tomorrow.

Looks like they are between 100 and 600k with a couple around 800k.

I have tried using the import tools but I must be doing something wrong as they don't seem to work for me.

Let me know when you have something for me to test.

after having a stable setup for awhile, i felt confident enough to install something new to Sage (why not?). So i installed this tonight...and wow, did i get some kind of big FAF (Family Acceptance Factor)! Kids were having fun just manually loading the poster backgrounds to see what came up...nevermind watching the movie!

Many KUDO's and thank you's . This will get installed on all clients and stay.

FWIW, this worked just fine for us out-of-the-box using Sage 6.5.9.204 and SageMC 6.3.8a, but i'm probably not utilizing all the goodies at this point.

One question: I notice a Watched flag for DVD's in one of the info panels. How does one switch this on-off? I see the option for avi/mpg's, but not for DVD's.

That has to be a bug. I remember reading a few weeks back that you can not set watched flags for DVD's.

Unless that is a new feature that I missed.

It is post like this that make me feel all the work is worth it to see someone else enjoying it. Thanks and your welcome.

Could you post a screen cap of the watched icon you are seeing? Is it in list view or folder view?

Also I would wait to move out to your client until at least the next build as it has alot of new stuff and fixes in it.

Q

Just so all knows this is really big for posters in fanart. BMI by default scales these to 200x300 pixels. I am sending quazeye a test code scaling his images back will report if that helps him or not.

One feature I would like to see is an option for backgrounds and another option for posters that would allow a random background or poster to be displayed. I have 3 or 4 backgrounds and 3 or 4 posters for each movie and it would be cool to have it choose one of these at random each time. Just an idea.

Q
How did the sample i sent you work?

This won't happen even maui is disabled most fanart cycling it just slows things down to much in it's current state especially on my wall.

You can however select which poster/fanart you want displayed.

Gald to hear should have been after inital loading/caching.

I still standby deleting all your fanart and using BMI as it automatically scales and is automatic.

If will probably re-code at some point to scale them in the app as it does put them in cache and they are accessed quicker.

Is there a easy walkthrough for the BMI thing? I looked at the install docs and it seems pretty complicated.

It is actually prwyy simple just download the latest version and import it after that go into sagemc other settings and set it to auto fetch set your provider

Shut Down sage and the service

Edit you properties file to force full index true

Restart sagetv and rwscan import libraries then set back and let it work

You can watch you fanart folder to see new folders being created to see where it is at

Pull up your options and it is the second button I believe on the view/filter menu.

Try updating one from within my app by going into edit and do a metadata/fanart search click on the one that matches

Does the grab fanart for that one?
