er... how do i run the xmltv importer

I'm using stehpane's. I cant see an exe or an option within sagetv.
Sorry - i'm new to xml so i know the question is basic.

Also what is an epg grabber. I want to use digiguides data - do i need another program for this. - I've checked out brittles home page and he has a program to extract from the radio times but not digiguide.

There a re lots of guids around but most seem to miss out the most basic questions - and thats where I get stuck?

thanks in advance.

digiguide data?

I've found the exe. I could not see in in my program menu because I view on a tv screen and it was hidden and it was not located near the end of the program files folder.

Can you advise me how to configure the app to grab the data from digiguide. I have digiguide installed and configured.

thanks

You need to download DG2XML here and follow the instructions.

Have you got the free version of XMLTV Importer or the donator version ? The donator version allows the grabbing to take place daily as a background task without doing anything.

I agree ! I had the same problems when I installed it the first time (which was 2 weeks ago). The digiguide thread is so big that it is not obvious to find out what is needed :

- Digiguide application ( around £10/year)
- DG2XML
- Stephane's XMLTV Importer
