Nope.
DE_Grab has been discontinued.

Right now you have to use Sage Recorder

Have a look at

http://nxtvepg.sourceforge.net/

This is a nextview decoder, which can dump data in xmltv-format

Havent tested it, but will tomorrow!

Smile Good EPG solution using TV Movie!

Hi everybody,

I found a solution for EPGs in Germany (well, beside the nxtvepg solution on nxtvepg.sourceforge.net, which will only work with specific tv tuner cards that support teletext/videotext, which is not supported by the hauppauge pvr cards for instance).

It's kind of my own "home-made" solution, but it works for me. I use the TV-Movie Click-Finder (http://www.tvmovie.de/clickfinder/index.html). You can download the software for free and it will download all the (very nice) program data (for 8 days in advance) on your computer! (Well, the free version only supports eight channels, but you can upgrade to the premium version very easily which supports all channels and it's only 9,99 EUR for the whole YEAR, so it really costs almost nothing).

The Click-Finder stores the EPG data in a microsoft access file (tvdaten.mdb). All I had to do was write a little Java program that extracts the data from the mdb file and converts it to an XMLTV xml file (epgdata.xml). So now I can use the SageTV XMLTV plugin and it works fine.

All I have to do is run "tvupdate.exe" of the Click-Finder and my little java program once in a while to update the epgdata.xml.

I haven't had the time yet to put my solution on a public server for you to download or anything - so if you're interested, I can send it to you by email...

Gruß,

potpiejimmy
