    Hi Derringer,

I upgraded to the new Hauppauge HD-PVR Beta Drivers and everything has been working great with 5.1 Audio for over 3 weeks now.

    http://www.hauppauge.com/site/suppor...ort_hdpvr.html

At first I thought I had a stability problem but it just turned out that using STKeepAlive works better that using the Dish 611 auto channel tunning after a program update.

My problem had always been that AV was out of sync when using HDPVR with DISH.

    I have a Rev D1.

    Here are some suggestions
    1. Update to the latest Beta Driver. First delete all the existing drivers with the happuage program, Then install the new drivers.

If this does not work then check

    2. Using your Dish remote find the audio sub menu. You need to set your output to dobly digital.

If you still have problems then send me an email with more info about your setup. ie
HTPC with Video and Audio sourced from PC to TV and or Receiver
    or
HTPC and HD200 or HD100 driving TV and Receiver

In my setup I have three sources for TV
    A) Happauge 1600 ATSC Receiver
    B) Hauppage 1800 ATSC receiver
    C)DISH + Hauppauge HDPVR

Can you verify your audio 5.1 is okay seperate from the HDPVR?

Let me know and I will see if I can help

Hello... I saw a post you made on the HD-PVR giving audio reflections with 5.1 source and was wondering if you ever got that solved ? I can do 2-channel analog perfectly, but when trying to do 5.1, regardless of which driver I try, I have poor sound quality, either sounding like they are speaking in a tunnel (reflections,) or with random audio digitization, where people sound like robots for a split second every minute or so.

Do you ahve any suggestions for a fellow Sage user, or should I really work hardest on the RMA process?

Thanks in advance, I have a Rev D2, if it matters..
