3 beers for all the folks that keep SageTV and the plug-in working. I use it almost all day every day.

Getup - bedroom HD200 plays local news on a timed record. Watch that for a bit, turn off bedroom HD200, move to Kitchen and pickup where I left off in the their with an Intel NUC while coffee brews, and cat's fed etc..

When that's done. commute to wfh office and fire it up on screen #4 as background noise while I work. This sometimes pays dividends as traffic reports can alert Mrs Slack on her hour-ish commute. Switch to another mrning joe show when they start repeating themselves.

Lunch time go to kitchen and watch a re-run of some old Family Guy while cosntructing a sandwich. Comm-skip enabled playback and after 20 mins back to the office.

At this point I usually switch to music...
Evening watching is more of the same.

SageTV is a critical application for this family.
Mrs Slack wants me to record the new season of garbage tv (The Bachelor etc..)? OK whip out a device and set it to record.

And this weekend is arguably the greatest flex of SageTV's power. All that football!!! and I can effortlessly skip the ED medicine, Beer, Truck commercials. All with top quality OTA HD playback effortlessly skipping around.

Kick it up a notch, and fine tune the skip ahead to eliminate the huddle time (unless hurry up offense is happening). And a game can be consumed at warp speed.

Another beer!

Yup, without a doubt hands-down the best tech investment I've ever made! Been running it 17 years, been through a few OS upgrades, had a few server HDD crashes and TV's that have passed on, but extenders and the SageTV software itself have been solid all these years. Only other tech I've had (almost) this long has been my DSLR camera, though it's nearing EOL I've got zero complaints, 100% WAF, and the only thing I could ask for is a UI refresh, but at the same time I remember if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Mega huge thanks for all the work that went into this fine product!
