I Had Exactly the Same Problem
I had exactly the same problem. I tried all combinations for video settings (including 3-D) and could not fix it. I finally went back to version 6.2.
I'm frustrated and disappointed by the problem, but at least I am not alone!! I am using a Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H motherboard with ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics, not an extender.
